Southwest Coast Path
This morning, the penetrating chill subsides. Warm breezes and soft birdsong take its place. The mildness in the air coaxes us to explore. We walk along the road, down the hill towards Bosigran Farm, and turn onto a footpath that leads to the coast. The path descends into a muddy hollow. Our feet sink and slip as we walk, pools of water form in the footprints we leave behind. We stretch long our strides, hoping to minimize contact points. After a short distance, the path rises onto a shelf of drier ground where conditions improve.
