- Two Storms

- I’ve heard that in the moments before a tsunami crashes ashore, the sea rushes away from the beach. I’ve also heard that what you don’t want to do at such a time is follow the sea as it rushes out, because it’s coming back with it a bloody big wave.
- Low Tides and Seagull Skies

- The tide was going out rather quickly. Inside the St. Ives harbor, little boats that had bobbed only a few moments earlier had been transformed into statues as the water drained from beneath their keels leaving them stranded on wet sand.
- January Busy Work

- I’m back in northern Colorado after several weeks in the UK and I’m gradually adjusting to the time shift and easing myself back into a routine of sorts.
